The mission of the Capacity Building unit at the ISO Central Secretariat is to support the learning and development efforts of its 170 members worldwide, to strengthen member capacity at the institutional level, and to promote effective participation in international standardization. The unit implements a comprehensive development assistance programme for ISO members in developing countries and offers a wide range of training opportunities to all its members. We are currently looking for a Project Coordinator (50 %) for the ISO Capacity Building unit, to join our team of professionals at the ISO Central Secretariat (ISO/CS) in Geneva, Switzerland.
The project coordinator will support a team of programme and project managers working in the unit on the implementation of capacity building and training activities, mainly in developing countries. These activities are delivered through face-to-face events, virtual sessions, e-learning courses or in hybrid format.
The Project Coordinator is responsible for the following operational tasks linked to capacity building activity:
In addition, the project coordinator will also contribute to overall tasks to ensure a smooth functioning of the unit and in preparing any governance related meetings and related minutes taking, as and when needed.
