  • Support ISO members in the practical implementation of licensing approaches, including structuring offers, defining use rights and restrictions, and adapting licensing models to local market conditions
  • Support the integration of licensing approaches into ISO’s and members’ digital distribution channels (e.g. webstores, subscription platforms, APIs), ensuring consistency between licensing terms and user experience
  • Work closely with Legal, IT and other relevant ISO Central Secretariat teams to ensure that licensing approaches are contractually robust, technically implementable and aligned with digital delivery mechanisms

Member capability and enablement

  • Enhance licensing capabilities across ISO members by developing and delivering guidance, toolkits, training sessions and tailored support, considering different levels of commercial maturity and digital readiness
  • Contribute to change management and communication activities supporting the transition to licensing, building awareness and understanding across the ISO system
  • Act as a subject-matter expert on content licensing, rights management and digital content distribution, advising internal teams and ISO members on licensing strategies and implementation

Programme coordination and transformation support

  • Oversee and coordinate ongoing projects and initiatives related to content licensing, ensuring consistency, alignment and synergies across workstreams supporting the transition (e.g. digital distribution, reporting tools, value-added products, member enablement initiatives)

Intellectual property protection and compliance

  • Contribute to the development and continuous evolution of ISO’s IP protection strategy, ensuring alignment with the organization’s transition toward content-licensing models and digital distribution environments
  • Identify risks related to copyright leakage and unauthorized use of ISO Publications, and design and implement proportionate, risk-based measures to prevent, detect and address such risks
  • Develop and execute enforcement and compliance approaches, in coordination with relevant internal and external stakeholders, to safeguard the commercial value of ISO content while ensuring consistency with policy, legal frameworks and member practices

Reports to: Head of Commercial Policy and Marketing
